What does Whichpond mean? : Nothing. I wish it were something clever/amusing/deep, but it is simply two words that I thought worked well together. Sorry to disappoint.

Who is behind all this? : That would be David Bussick. A bio page may be found here.

Do you have a mailing list? : Yes. You can subscribe here.

What sort of grading system do you use? : Pieces are graded on a scale of 1-5. 1 being beginner level, 5 being professional level. As with all grading systems, this is subjective and inexact. Check out the score and audio samples to get a better idea whether the piece is right for your needs.

How do I place my order online? : The first step is to create an account. After you are logged in you can browse through the catalog by clicking on the categories on the left side of the screen or search the catalog for specific composers or pieces. Clicking on the title of a piece will bring up more information (samples, instrumentation, grade, etc.). If you want to purchase the piece simply click on the Add to Cart icon. When you are finished adding items to your cart click on the Checkout icon to complete the transaction.

Is it possible to view all the pieces available in the Whichpond Music Online Store? : Yes. You can view the whole shebang on the All Products Page organized alphabetically by composer.

What are my payment options for online orders? : You may pay online using your credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) or you can send in a check or money order. You will be able to select your preferred payment method at checkout. If you are a member of PayPal you may pay using that method as well. Simply choose the PayPal option and you will be redirected to their site at checkout.

What is the PDF Delivery option? Does it cost extra? : Choose this option at checkout and your music will be sent to your email address as .pdf files. These files can be read by any computer and you can print them off as needed. This service is free. Here is a tutorial on PDF delivery.

If I choose the PDF Delivery option how long will it take to receive my music? : Less than a day. If your order is placed during regular working hours I will typically get your music to you in under an hour.

Can I get my music mailed to me? How much will it cost? : Standard mail delivery is available to customers in the US and Canada. Chose the Standard Mail Delivery option at checkout. Printing costs are factored in. The total cost depends on the number/size of the pieces you order.

If I choose the Standard Mail Delivery option will I receive 'real' music in the mail? : Yes. All scores are printed on 11x17 paper and staple bound, as it should be. I don't use cheap/annoying plastic binding combs.

Is this site secure? : Yes. All areas of the site dealing with the transfer of sensitive information (account creation, checkout, payment, etc.) are protected by a secure connection. Your information will never be given to a third party.

Do I have to place my order online? : No. You can email me a list of the pieces you wish to order.
You can also give your order over the phone by leaving a voicemail at (928)230-6003.

Does Whichpond Music sell to dealers? : Yes. All music published by Whichpond Music is available for sale to dealers. (Note: the prices listed online are the prices of .pdf files; printed and bound copies cost extra.) Email me for terms.

What is your return policy? : If you order print music sent by mail you may return it within 2 weeks of delivery for a full refund (minus shipping charges). If your music is defective or arrived damaged you may exchange it for another copy. Due to the nature of the delivery method, music sent as .pdf files cannot be returned. Please see the sample files (or contact me for a sample file) before ordering to be sure the music is right for your needs.

Is Whichpond Music a member of any performing rights organization? : Yes. Whichpond Music is a member of ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers). If you perform any Whichpond publications please let them know, or drop me a line.

Does Whichpond Music accept submissions for publication? : Nope.

Does Whichpond Music offer engraving services? : Nope.

I want to send you a letter/order/bag of money. What is your mailing address? : You can mail me at:
